Picture below I painted the oval with chalkboard paint. The only downfall is the location. Being over the stove makes the chalk fade. It says "Yum!" but you can barely see it. I want to try some of the dry erase chalkboard markers that HL has and see if they work better.

The dry erase board/magnet board I have hanging inside my pantry. I also painted the outside with chalkboard paint so I'd have plenty of note-taking room =)
I remember some of that stuff! I love the cattails. And how did you get that perfect chalkboard oval?
