Supplies: Wreath form, fabric, tulle, rotary cutter or scissors
I just eyeballed my strips of fabric and cut them about 6 inches long and about 2-3 inches wide. I tied the strips around the wreath and alternated my fabric and tulle.
Finished piece! Looks so much better in natural light! =) I'm satisfied with it. I think I need to raise it up a tad to be centered in the window but that just might be me and my weirdness, lol

DeleteThat American wreath is so beautiful, I wood never have imagined putting tulle and fabric together like that, what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI've got some denim and red check grannies (that I cut from old clothes)waiting for a project, so if I cut up an old white sheet I could make a wreath like that too, it would make a great gift and yeah you could have it on your front door the whole year round.
I made a denim pouch the other day from my old jeans for my Tracfone LG500G smart phone, to protect the touch screen, and from an old red t-shirt I cut out a kangaroo profile to sew onto the pouch, I then embroidered the features on the kangaroo, it the cell phone pouch looked striking with the red and blue colors.
Anette, thank you =) A wreath with demin and red checks reminds me even more of summers and picnics so that would be really cute! Your cell phone cover sounds cute too!
