Baked sugar and cinnamon tortillas with fruit salsa

Time for another recipe! So if anyone knows me personally they probably know that I really don’t cook so stop laughing. I’ve been blessed with a hubby who likes to cook so I take pride when I get a wild hair and cook edible successful recipes. I’ve been really proud of my Crockpot lasagna, Apple Dumplings, Mustard Chicken, Sour Cream and Bacon Crockpot Chicken, Cheese Stuffed Chicken, and Bacon Ranch Potatoes (can you tell I went on a Pinterest craze, lol?). Trav said the other day that I just might have “chef tendencies” after we made the addicting bacon ranch potatoes three times in one week. Um, no, but thanks, honey, for the confidence boost =) Anywho, I highly suggest those recipes I listed! They were delicious (and if I can do them, anyone can Winking smile). Okay, onward!!!
Baked Sugar/Cinnamon Tortilla Chips w/ Fruit Salsa

Ingredients: Fruit Salsa: Strawberries, bananas, sugar (can use any kind of fruit), my chopper tool is also VERY helpful for annihilating those strawberries! Tortillas: Flour tortillas, cinnamon, sugar, cooking spray, and a pizza cutter or other cutting utensil
I started with my fruit salsa, chopped up my fruit, added to pretty bowl, added sugar to my taste.

I then took my handy dandy pizza cutter and cut my tortillas in quarters. It went pretty fast since I layered about three at a time. I sprayed both sides with cooking spray and then sprinkled a mixture of sugar and cinnamon on both sides. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Finally tried this morning after I brought them to work and they are amazingly good. I don’t think I ever want to buy store bought tortilla chips again! I love the sweetness but to add a bit of salt would be yummy as well.

Yes, I’m lame, I took these photos with my iPhone again so they’re horrible quality. I’ll be better, I promise!
Until next time, I’m officially hungry! Again, lol!
